Who have never played tennis,

Who haven't played for a while, or

Who play all the time

Who We Are

Tennis for Life™ (TFL) is an active support group for Breast Cancer Survivors, offering free indoor tennis and instruction. All levels of players, especially beginners, are welcome to join at any time. TFL is offered in cooperation with the Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Our non-profit organization offers tennis lessons, peer networking groups, and members-facilitated discussion groups to
unite and assist breast cancer survivors in their recovery.

In 1999, Marcia Devens, an avid tennis player and a 13-year breast cancer survivor, founded Tennis for Life. The idea was to introduce tennis to others with her circumstances who would not typically consider tennis to help facilitate the physical and psychological recovery process. TFL is committed to supporting and enhancing the lives of breast cancer survivors.
